PowerUp NY Rooftop Solar Seminar

Our first seminar on rooftop solar power systems was held on October 10, 2009 at Habana Outpost, NYC's first solar powered restaurant and ecoeatery, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Scientists and solar power experts spoke about why solar power is a promising energy resource for New York State, the effects of CO2 on our atmosphere, and how people can take advantage of government incentives to install solar power systems on their rooftops.
